Welcome to life Twins. From the looks of it you're in great hands. You've also got a pretty dang good neighbor.
They are going to be so much fun to watch!Lucky you!Phyllis (N/W Jersey)
Thanks Phyllis. You need to get to work on your blog. I want to hear about your chickens.
You need to setup a game trail camera or a web camera with the motion sensor driver to take pics of them as they grow. Upload the pics or video to youtube Bet you get thousands of views on it.
I've been keeping my eye out for a couple of game cams. We have a ten point buck out here that likes my garden. My neighbor has an awesome picture of him.
ok went and 'dood' it. Just click on "Chickenmom" and it should bring you to my newby blog called: Chicken Feathers. It's really lame. I cannot write. I don't even know how the blog thingy works. I am asking Irish for help. I need it. Badly. (Ah, well, at least the jokes will be funny)!
About ten years ago, I was trimming the hedges and uncovered a nest of newborn cardinals. The sun was baring down on them and I cried hysterically, watching the mother as she stared at her dying babies. I'm so glad these won't meet the same fate. I love cardinals - especially being from the Kentuckiana area.
We have about 18 to 20 pair that live around here. It gets pretty noisy sometimes.
I hope they fill your heart with happiness my friend. you deserve it. the rat
Thanks Rat. Hmmmm. Be careful. You let your grumpy face slip for a second. :)

Cool. Thanks for the heads up. I still get a 10% discount there.
