Well done Endeavour

She is making her last flight and just landed at 10:45 AM at Houston Ellington Field. I was hoping she would do a flyover by the shop but she didn't. She did fly over an acquaintance's house in Laporte. Nice shot here.
Named after HMS Endeavour. Capt. Cook's ship.
Built to replace the Challenger.
25 Missions.
Time spent in space: 280 days, 9 hours, 39 minutes, 44 seconds.
Number of orbits: 4429
Number of miles: 103,149,635.50
Good night, sweet lady. End of a magic time in space flight.

  1. It's a shame that the Texas flag was flying upside down when it landed at the airport in Houston.
