Storm of the Century!

At least according to the local TV channels who have interrupted everything to better bring you the latest, breakenest, uninterrupted advertisement news. We have one news babe reporter standing in a parking lot  glamorizing reporting the high winds with an umbrella in her hand with the backdrop of 80' trees doing their best"I'm not moving, you can't see me!" impressions.

Trust me, Hurricane Ike threw more at us in one hour than this thing will all day!

But the good news is this will contribute so much to our drought deficit!

  1. rain wise, Allison was worse, 36" in three days non-stop.
    We got 2.5" or so in Cypress. I was keeping an eye on the Harris county flood control website today, now that I'm driving a go-kart.
    Today was more like a typical August Thunderstorm, but not as much lightning.
    Rain is good. More please.
