Good weekend.

Started with Boys Night sleepover. It didn't last all that long. He had a hard week at the office.

The downside to him passing out early is he woke up at 5am Saturday morning. Oh well, that's the way it goes, sometimes.

We are still dealing with drought dead trees. And will be for a while. We cut down three more Saturday. Most of the trees on our place are 80'+ tall. These were no exception.

It's hard to judge, but this fire is about 8' wide and 4' high. Made for a good place to drink a few beers and rest some weary bones. Thanks to my son-in-law and his dad for all the help.

So I got in tonight and decided to do some maintenance on the .380. Got her all shiny new looking. Then put on a shrimp boil.
